The weird glass objects are just that... all some sort of glass objects. The 'floor' is also a glass texture with a bump map. I wasn't really going for that exact effect, but it's still moderately interesting.

I was trying to make a neat futuristic-looking analog clock face, but this is as close as I got Sad

Looks neat, you just need a texture on the metal and an actual clock in there.

yah i agree with fate, u just need to make the rim look more like metal and add some kinda cool looking hands to the clock...it would look pretty nice then.

I guess I do need more of a brushed metal texture on the surface, and maybe some additional refraction on the glass (or even just some non-specular lighting). My issue is that this is going to be an actual clock, so I need to figure out how to get the clock hands to be behind the glass face...

I have no clue how to get that out of the 3D program and preserve such transparency Confused

The first part of the taskbar spplication would be to use a static image for a clock, and just add hands; so yes, this is work on trying to make the static clock image Confused

Took me forever to get the rim to look the way it does, and I'm still not that happy with it. I need to learn how to model splines in Maya. I made the spline to be revolved in AutoCAD in under a minute, but later found I had no way of getting the geometry out of AutoCAD into Maya (doh!).

hehehehehehehehehehehe I found one. This is from an upcomming platformer...the basic premis is scientist do animal testing and after testing shampoo and such products on this bunny it became indestructable, therefore a weasel chains it to his arm and use it as a weapon to cause massive damage to the scientists and their labaratories and free all the monkeys...this is a great shoot of what the game is all about....

Tapirs are so cute.... I want one.... they seem like pigs... only cuter. Although pigs are nice too... one day I want one... they're smarter than dogs and cleaner too.

Question... what animal is ALF?

For a non-aquatic pet, I'd definately want something furry.
