BK Strikes Again:
http://open.salon.com/content.php?cid=77590
Quote:
The new app is called Whopped Sacrifice and it rewards you with a coupon for BK's signature burger for every 10 'friends' you manage cut loose. Each time you delete a 'friend' from your massively cluttered list, the application sends a notification to the banished party via Facebook's news feed explaining that your desire for a Whopper is stronger than your love for the unlucky former 'friend.' The app also adds a box on a user's profile page charting their progress toward the free burger with the line, "Who will be the next to go?"

Found via http://www.shapeways.com/blog/archives/182-The-new-Pepsi-Logo.html

Pepsi Gravitational Field
Part Design Document - Part Four Day Time Cube
http://www.panic.com/~cabel/img/pepsi_gravitational_field.pdf

Quote:
It looks to be to be a high level pitch document for their client Pepsico and is a great read for anyone interested in design or marketing.

...

Later on in the document it shows you the "Perimeter Oscillations" of Pepsi logos through the years before showing you the gravitational pull of the new logo. It ends with showing us the Pepsi universe which is apparently derived from looking at the exponential expansion of the universe.

Their diagrams appear to be saying that they're going back from the future...and yet they are long past the need for DNA. Clearly this is due to their superior technology such as the gravity vortex on page 26.

Also I'm disappointed that it's taken them this long to include the golden ration in their design speculations...

In addition, marketing and design people need to stay the fuck away from science.

"An inadvertent administrative error" meant that some of the 1,400 Microsoft laid off recently received overpayments in their severance packages. The company's asked for the money back, making this a hat trick of HR Kops komedy.

So apparently the reason Kuttner killed himself is that he's got a new job at the White House:

So long guy who seems to be in every show I've ever watched. You will be missed(on tv).
