PBS did a mini-seriece based on the book "The Elegant Universe" it's supposed to be an average reader guide to basic modern physics type stuff, i haven't seen the book but the show is very cool to watch. It has a lot of info, it mostly goes into things like string theory and multiple dimentions, though it does cover some history of physics. The nice thing is PBS has it streaming from their site for free, i got the link of slashdot today and it plays pretty good here at work, with ocasional signal loss, so far i've listned to the first two hours while working and it's all pretty interesting, the whole thing is three hours and while it is a video I found that there were very few things where u had to watch and mostly u can just listen to the show...hope ppl like this...
