This is pretty interesting...cs ppl in Denmark are working on these things they r calling ghosts...i think they will eventualy be something ppl can interact with . The website for the proj is pretty well done: http://delca.itu.dk/

They say that all the sounds are generated by the computer...the voices sound really really good, though not totaly perfect...the female voice sounds closer then the male one i think....though this is another good example of the uncanny valley effect the woman sounds very creepy...though that just might be the effect they r going for since they put the slight echo there...
