What's the point of a NURBS cube? _________________ "A club without the right direction, is a misguided stick."

i think you can start modeling things with it pretty easily and change them into other things...though i'm not totaly sure....But it's just a normal cube with rounded endges right??? _________________ The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, isn't 'Eureka!' but rather 'hmm....that's funny.'

It's not by definition rounded. You can round it just like a polygon cube, but all it is is 6 NURBS planes positioned in a cube. I don't see any point in it... seems a lot more complicated than a polygon cube, and I don't see any advantages. _________________ "A club without the right direction, is a misguided stick."

I thought with a nurbs cube you could interact with the corners of it and so make more rounded effects and such. It's wierd that it's 6 distinct planes and not one object... _________________ The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, isn't 'Eureka!' but rather 'hmm....that's funny.'
