I'm not a huge fan of fan-fiction in general, but somehow I got linked to this one and read through the chapter I had open when the net was down...and I rather liked it. It's a cross between Rowling's work, and Ender-era Orson Scott Card...a Potter's Game, if you will. The linked chapter is 16 of 31 (It's where I started for some reason), and is good a place as any, provided you're familiar with both of the above author's works first hand.
