James and I are in this class called General Robotics. We build robots almost every week. This last lab was a 3 week long robot. It's a Urban Search and Rescue Vehicle, it's teleoperated with camera. So we cannot see where the robot is or anything except through the camera. Here is some information on the project:

First a proposal was required... here is an unfinished verison of ours if you're interested:

Several checkpoints were required before going to the final USAR competition. The final check point was to traverse the old Mars world. We were required to travers it the long way rather than taking the diagonal or 'twin peak' route. The following is a video of our tests. (Note: we had not glued the camera on the servos yet... because we were not sure of the design and this is the reason it keeps falling off and also it we were experimenting with the driving so we also had some driver error)

I want to thank Grand Programmer Max for his help with the mouse/camera interface. Unfortunately we had been getting used to using the keybboard and so we did not use it however it works perfectly .
The USAR competition (demo) was filmed by a 3rd party since we are not allowed to see the map. Basically it was a 2 story collapsed building we had to find these small people and identify them... without running them over. A video of this will be posted when it becomes available.
Also if we make it to the finals a video of that will likely be provided as well.
James feel free to post your stuff as well contact me if you don't know how to upload to my server.
