As I recall, if there is a long operation, it's better to tell the user what's going on than to sit there with a busy cursor, even if they can't change the status; at the very least they realize that the application is doing something and can't be interrupted.

As for the message itself, I assume that Problems is a collection or node in a hierarchy, and that it's iterating through to find the children nodes of the Problem. Not sure though... never got that message before.

Eclipse has plenty of other stuff going on in the background that it doesn't like to tell you about so I'm not sure why this one would make the list of things I should know about, also this is a more code specific thing(kinda like saying "getting ___ data from ___ table in ____database" rather then "waiting to get info from db", the former is usefull for developers, the latter for users who could care less). But I digress.
