China just launched it's first man into space. I wonder how this will effect other space programs.

You beat me with this post I read about it actually week ago and I get CNN news updates read it this morning. I don't think it will affect the space programs much mainly because china has been a part of the international space program. I don't think china has the impetus or the funding to be able to contribute much more than it already has at this point. Although I am not too knowledgable in tese matters I really do not believe china's main concern is space. This new progress is natural progress at it's normal level of contribution to space program I think... I do not think this shows that china is taking big additional step. I would of course like to see more space exploration from china but I don't think China's main concern should be space exploration. _________________ "My Heart Is In the Work" - Andrew Carnegie |
