Also for you mac guys... what is IBM's 64 bit technology called? The article states that AMD originally developed the x86-64 architecture. from what I read this is similar to the first 8008 chips emulating 32 bit from 16 bit. You guys know much about this?
IBM's (Apple's) G5 chips are similar to older generation chips? built off of them?
