One of the deals in the contract that Jk Rowling made was that all actors in the movie be from the Uk.
So no walken but I would of sooo peed my pants if it was. _________________ I own the cutest kittens in the world!!! |

While thats mostly true...there have been non-english actors in them...though in very minor roles...Madam Hooch was played by Zoe Wanamaker who was born in america (but works and lives largly in England) and one of the Gringots Goblins was Verne Troyer aka Mini-Me......additionaly Chris Columbus (first two movie's director) had his daughter in the role of Susan Bones (i don't know who that is)...though that one is more understandable...
But all this is nit-picky and not pictures......post pictures people! |

Quote: | The above photo, credited to the Yale yearbook (the caption is in the original), appeared in yesterday's Los Angeles Times, alongside a story on the appeal of "bad boys" in American politics. It's not in the Times' online version, and the rest of the country should see it, I think.
Incidentally, while rugby is a contact sport, every player knows that tackling above the shoulders is a foul. So is leaving your feet during a tackle. Either of these is serious enough that the other team is immediately awarded a penalty kick, often directly resulting in points for the other team.
So even without throwing a punch, Bush is already well outside fair play.
Grasping an opponent by the back of the head and punching him in the face is beyond the pale -- I've watched rugby avidly for years, and I've never seen it during an open-field tackle like this, honest -- and will typically result in a player being immediately sent off.
I'm sure by next week Karl Rove will have a collection of rugby players claiming that John Kerry was even worse... |

Baby: I can squish your head. Squishy! Squishy!
Quote: | A new type of ultrasound scan has produced vivid pictures of a 12 week-old foetus "walking" in the womb. The images have shown:
* From 12 weeks, unborn babies can stretch, kick and leap around the womb - well before the mother can feel movement
* From 18 weeks, they can open their eyes although most doctors thought eyelids were fused until 26 weeks
* From 26 weeks, they appear to exhibit a whole range of typical baby behaviour and moods, including scratching, smiling, crying, hiccuping, and sucking.
Until recently it was thought that smiling did not start until six weeks after birth. |

You know you have no life when
A) You can find nothing better to do with your time than dismember a baby doll and and put Christmas lights in it.
B) Announce that said dismember-reassembled baby looks evil.
C) Dedicate a section of your website to show other people had to waste their time using steps A and B.
Choose one of the above. _________________ Check it out! I finally remembered my login for this account. I can do crazy things like put text in my signature and change my avatar so it doesn't say NaNoWriMo 2005. |

Hmm... good point. I suppose I would have to define that as ironic.
