I dunno how many of you would find this interesting but I think Jeff would at least.
Here's some papers on smoothing of surfaces algorithms and my last assignment's outputs for smoothing algorithms. If you wish to play with my code let me know I can put up the code... it is quite interesting in my opinion.
This is my paper

Here are some other papers... I could get introuble for putting these up... these are for your eyes only please... I know at least one person from each group that did this research... I got it passworded so they obviously don't want it spreading all over the place.

I didn't read curvature flow yet.
improved laplacian was implemented in my code... it works very well if good values of alpha and beta weighting value are chosen.
least square was analyzed in my paper also but I was unsuccessful in implementing it... I realize now a few of my mistakes but it is a very complicated program involving lots of vector manipulations and solving of large matrixes (one for each vertex!!! takes forever).
Signal processing lends its ideas from signal processing in ECE stuff... filtering out the low fluctuations and stuff... pretty interesting too but I didn't implement or analyze it.
