Theory 1: teeth are intelligent, they see the one that is clean and they wish to be clean also... so they clean themselves... now u can call this somewhat of a peer pressure theory... but then u can ask... why doesn't the dirty ones pressure the clean one into being non clean? well... the clean one is now so... dazed from being scrubbed by a giant brush... it can't even think straight... and it looks like it just had some weed or something... kinda high and stoned.... so the other teeth want in on the action.
Counter-Theory 1: The teeth like to procrastinate, and hence never actually clean themselves, they only think about doing it.
Theory 2: the brushing of the first tooth sets off minute vibrations within the tooth. as long as you brush that one with enough energy to remove all the particles not only from that one tooth but from the other ones in the mouth also... that tooth since it is touching the other teeth in one way or another... will transmit that energy through either sonically (they make toothbrush that clean using this) or through direct contact..... hence it sets off a chain reaction that cleans all the other teeth. _________________ "A club without the right direction, is a misguided stick."
